Below are a few other Caltrans projects that are underway or will start construction soon near the SR-94 project area.
Guardrail and End Treatment Project -This project plans to upgrade guardrails/end treatments only. Project is on Route 94 just west of Cuchero Via Drive to the Route 94/I-8 separation. Installation of Rumble Strip was previously completed by a Caltrans maintenance project.
End Treatment & Rumble Strip Project - This project proposes to upgrade end-treatments and install a rumble strip in the center line of SR-94 from Steele Canyon Road to just east of Marron Valley Road (post mile 15.3 to 30). This project is the PSR/PR phase. Construction is tentatively scheduled for June 2008.
Overlay Project - This is a rubber open graded overlay on SR-94 at Campo from
The SR-94/SR-188 junction to I-8/SR-94 separation. The limits of this project may change. Construction is planned for summer 2007.
Overlay Project - The overlay project from Marron Valley Road to SR-188 was completed in construction. It included a centerline rumble strip. The overlay project starting at SR-188 will continue to the railroad crossing just east of Campo and will include a centerline rumble strip as well. An additional overlay from the end of this project to the SR-94/I-8 junction is a possibility next year. That project, when scheduled should include a rumble strip also.
Overlay Project - Construction for overlay project from Rural Creek to

Miles East of Grande Creek (Postmile 14.9 to 30.0) is planned for 2011.
Dikes, guardrails, and other traffic safety items will also be upgraded.
